The units have 30W of power each, and connect to their primary source through a 2.4GHz receiver module up to 70 feet away. Crtically, a mini-jack port allows secondary sources such as iPods, while another input allows the addition of a dedicated subwoofer. It's suggested that the wireless aspect makes the speakers ideal as a replacement for a second audio system -- alternately, the speakers could be integrated into an existing setup as surround channels, or dedicated to a media player. Wirefly surveyed 2,011 U.S.-based cell phone users, age 18 and older, and found: 46 percent use their cell phone 500 minutes a month or less; 32 percent use their cell phone between 500 and 1000 minutes per month; 13 percent said they use their cell phone more than 1000 minutes each month. The same survey revealed that 68 percent of users say the camera is their favorite cell phone feature — beating out built-in MP3 players, GPS systems or TV functionality.
